Daniela Jimenez


Daniela Jimenez is a freshman from Inglewood, CA. She began working in the Strassmann/Queller lab in the summer of 2014 through the Summer Scholars in Biology and Biomedical Research program. She worked under Suegene Noh to develop the FREQ-Seq technique in order to identify different clones of D. discoideum in a chimeric fruiting body.
Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing sports, spending time with friends and family, she is currently a part of ALAS (Association of Latino American Students) and the Wash U Women’s Ultimate Team and looks forward to finding more groups to get involved with on campus.
