Stephanie Montenegro is a sophomore pre-med student at Wash U who came from West Bountiful, Utah. She started working at the Strassmann/Queller Lab in 2012 as part of the EUREKA program. Currently she is working on whether a D. purpureum farming trait exists and what the benefits of farmer mutualism are.
Outside of the lab setting, she enjoys playing soccer, watching soccer, listening to music, hiking, and watching The Big Bang Theory. She is currently a part of Wash U Women’s Club Soccer and the Campus-Y.
